Safe Work by SRR Employees Leads to Another $500 to United Way

AIKEN, S.C. – Members of the Savannah River Remediation (SRR) F Tank Farm Local Safety Improvement Team (LSIT) recently presented a $500 check to the Allendale-Barnwell County Disabilities and Special Needs Board in recognition of SRR employees working the month of July 2011 without a lost day of work due to injury.

Based on SRR's employee-based safety program, employees are provided opportunities to select a United Way-member charity for each month worked without an injury and the company donates $500 to that charity.
