S.C. Chamber Recognizes Savannah River Remediation for Diversity

Aiken, S.C. -- Savannah River Remediation LLC (SRR) was recognized as one of 13 South Carolina companies for its diversity program during a dinner held October 18, 2011, in Columbia by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. Accepting the award was (second from left) Stephanie Dingle, SRR Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Employee Concerns Program (ECP) and Employee Relations Manager. Making the presentation during the 2011 South Carolina Excellence in Workplace Diversity program were Cheryl Behymer (left), chairperson of the chamber's Diversity Committee, and Jim Reynolds, Diversity Committee vice chairman.

SRR is the Savannah River Site's (SRS) Liquid Waste contractor. SRS is owned by DOE. SRR is composed of personnel from a team of companies led by URS with partners Bechtel National, CH2M Hill and Babcock & Wilcox. Critical subcontractors for the contract are AREVA, Energy Solutions and URS Safety Management Solutions.
